BUSINESS INCUBATOR FOR AFRICAN WOMEN ENTREPRENEURS (BIAWE) PROJECT

SEDCO is implementing the Business Incubator for African Women Entrepreneurs (BIAWE) Project that seeks to specialize in building the capacity of women entrepreneurs in chicken meat production, processing and marketing in the Shiselweni region. This project is financed by the New Partnership for Africa’s Development (NEPAD) through the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA) under the Federation of National Association of Women in Business in Eastern and Southern Africa (FEMCOM). The project is implemented in close collaboration with FEMCOM who are the project managers for the pilot project in four countries (Eswatini, Kenya, Sudan and Burundi). The logic is to enable women in Entrepreneurs to come together in clusters, holistically minimize their production costs and ultimately increase value added goods and services in the local, regional and international markets.
